M. Freddy’s Signature Packaging

We deliver chalk pastel works on paper in our Signature Packaging.

Archival interleaving
Sourced via Preservation Equipment Ltd (PEL). PEL has received a Royal Warrant in the UK as a supplier of materials for conservation and preservation. We generally recommend reusing this layer to protect the artwork in storage, but please consult a local archivist for advice for your specific case.
- Glassine by University Products to avoid smudges: acid-free, 40gsm, Photographic Activity Test (PAT passed) ISO18916
- Mounting cards by Arcare to offer support: acid free and lignin free board, 365gsm (0.5mm), Photographic Activity Test (PAT passed) ISO18916
- Vintage brown cotton ribbon by PEL as an adhesive-free solution to hold the interleaving in place: unbleached, acid-free, archival (*note: the product page claims its colours will not bleed, but we recommend monitoring its condition if used for long-term storage)
- Handwritten gift message on acid-free tag by Tyvek (WOP) / Handwritten gift card with M. Freddy brand label on mounting card by Arcare (WOWP)

2. Gift box

We use box-in-box packaging to protect the artwork during transit.
