M. Freddy only offers custom-made, original artworks. The bespoke nature of the artwork means the Studio cannot accept returns, and all sales are final. We sincerely hope you enjoy the artwork you select and we invite you to schedule an online viewing before placing your order. Please write to MFreddy.studio@gmail.com.

Variations

The Studio tries to depict the true appearance of items accurately on the Website, but some variations may occur. For example, there may be variations in tones and colours, dependent on the calibration and settings of individual screens, and the lighting conditions you choose to display the artwork. Additionally, the use of natural materials such as paper and wood panels also mean there may be blemishes, curled edges, and bows. All measurements quoted on the Website for original artworks are approximate and there may be variations between the measurements specified on the website and the artwork purchased. You agree to accept these differences and variations when purchasing original artworks from us. We invite you to email us and make arrangements to view artworks before placing an order.

Cooling-off period

We look forward to delivering original works of art to you and we want to make sure your order arrives promptly. We offer a 72-hour grace period during which you can cancel your order for any reason. Please notify us as soon as possible by emailing MFreddy.studio@gmail.com. If you would like to select a different artwork, please cancel your existing order within the grace period and place a new order.

Custom-made, original artworks are clearly personalized, and they are exempt from the European Union 14-day cooling-off period. In the event you wish to cancel your order, please be sure to notify us within the 72-hour window.

Warranties

The Studio offers original, custom-made works of art solely for artistic purposes. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations. The qualities of the materials for your order (such as “light-fast”, “handmade”, “non-toxic”, “acid-free”, or “ISO 9706”) are claims made by their respective suppliers and are guaranteed by the respective suppliers only. We cannot be held responsible for the materials’ quality claims and we offer no guarantees.

We are not responsible for the artworks’ care or maintenance once they leave the studio. Please be mindful that original artworks are sensitive to conditions such as light, humidity, and temperature. We offer general care and framing advice which is available in our Contemporary Fine Art Care Guide, but this advice may not be the most current and they may not be applicable to your specific location or case. Prevention is significantly easier than reversing any damage. We always recommend consulting a conservation professional for advice about your collection. This does not have to be pricey. Consider reaching out to a friendly archivist at your local museum or attending an educational event.
